Eagle Interrupted

One of my favourites, and the first Giclee print made. The first one sits above my workstation and it adds emotion with the colour and impression of movement. This Bald Eagle has been a long time resident in the Banff area. Frequently hunting over Vermillion Lakes, though I managed to capture this image from a paddleboard as I floated by on the Bow River. He was sunning himself, likely after an unsuccessful hunt and took off in disgust as I passed.
