Pronghorn Contemplation

I cannot begin to explain the excitement of mine when I was able to capture this photograph. Pronghorn to me were almost mythical. I never really spent much time in the grasslands where to many they are a common sighting. I made a plan based on the colours of Spring and the golden light of sunset to go and find one. It took me a few days and a lot of patience but I was finally able to be close enough, and with the sun behind me to create this image. And then it ran away and I saw why they get the nickname Speed-Goat immediately!
